Thomas Gene Little October 5, 1949 – July 14, 2026 Thomas Gene Little, 76, of Little Robinson Creek, passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and an enduring legacy of faith, love, and hard work. Thomas was a devoted member of Pilgrims Prayer Church of Old Regular Baptist, where his faith guided the way he lived each day. He was a man who found joy in life’s simple blessings. Whether he was spending time in his garage working on a project, enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, or cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, Thomas embraced every moment with quiet strength and appreciation. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his family. He shared a beautiful marriage of 50 years with the love of his life, Diana Little. Together they built a home filled with love, faith, laughter, and unwavering devotion. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, and Thomas cherished every moment they spent together. Diana was his greatest blessing, his constant companion, and the center of his heart. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Reedie and Alma Little; his beloved son, Ricky Little; his brothers, Johnny Little and Jim Reed; his niece, Madonna Cable; and his nephew, Joshua Cable. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Diana Little; his children, Terry (Robin) Newsome of Indiana, Linda Gail (Jeff) Branham of Robinson Creek, Katrina Lynn (Donnie) Atkinson of Little Robinson, Stephanie Jean (Teddy) Younce of Little Robinson, and Austin Little of Georgetown. He is also survived by his siblings, Enos (Linda) Little, Ronald Little, and Madelyn (Bobby) Cable, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory. He was an incredibly proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Nathan Tyler (Shelbey) Little, Joshua Blake (Whittany) Little, Christopher Lee Thomas (Paige) Hawkins, Abigail Alexis (Sean) Miller, Keaton Randall Younce, Emily Grayce Atkinson, and Breydon Riley Atkinson. His grandchildren brought him endless pride and joy, and he treasured every opportunity to celebrate their accomplishments and spend time with them. Thomas was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren who brought light to his later years: Maelyn Bess Little, Judah Tyler Little, Jayleigh Brooke Little, Lainey Belle Little, Abram Thomas Howard Little, Hadley Blake Hawkins, and Rylee Kate Miller. He also leaves behind Robert and Angie, who held a special place in his heart and were loved as family. Thomas will be remembered for his steady presence, kind heart, strong work ethic, unwavering faith, and the deep love he had for his family. The lessons he taught through his actions, his quiet wisdom, and the example he set will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him. In honoring Thomas’s wishes, cremation will follow his services. Funeral services will be held at 7PM Wednesday at the Hall and Jones Funeral Home with Daryl Newsom, and others officiating. Visitation will begin after 6PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Pilgrims Prayer Church of Old Regular Baptist. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that Thomas’s journey on earth has ended and his eternal home has begun. His love, faith, and legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know him.
