Dewanna Ann Wright

Dewanna Ann Wright, 54 years of age of Rockhouse Fork of Caney Creek passed away Saturday April 9, 2022, at Pikeville Medical Center. She was born March 12, 1968, to Hubert Potter of Dorton and the late Wanda Breeding Potter. She was a member of the Dorton Freewill Baptist Church. Besides her father, she is survived by her husband Jeff Wright, two sons; Brandon Smallwood of Chattanooga, TN, Patrick (Katie) Wright of Prestonsburg, one daughter; Danielle (Matt) Stewart of Rockhouse of Caney Creek, one brother; Ricky (Darlene) Potter of Rockhouse of Caney Creek, one sister; Selena (Clois) Wright of Jenkins, and two grandchildren; Lilly Stewart, Andy Wright. Along with a host of family, friends and loved ones. Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home with Dorton Freewill Baptist ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery at Rockhouse of Caney Creek. Visitation will begin on Tuesday after 6:00PM at the Funeral Home with a service starting at 7:00PM.
