Louise Johnson Mullins

May 7, 1942 - May 29, 2019

Janice Louise Johnson Mullins 77, of McRoberts, formerly of Virgie, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at her residence. She was born on May 7, 1942 to the late Everett and Edra Mae Elswick Tackett. She was a member of the Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church and worked as the Cafeteria manager at Virgie High School. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband; Everett “Buster” Johnson, two brothers; George Tackett, Roy Tackett, one sister; Burnis Tackett, one sister-in-law; Belle Kiser Tackett. She is survived by her husband; Paul Mullins of McRoberts, three sons; Barry (Connie) Johnson of Virgie, Brad (Audrey) Johnson of Morehead, Mitchell (Robin) Mullins of Seco, three daughters; Pamela (John) King of Bluefield, VA, Susan Johnson Collins of Virgie, Tammy (Joe) Hall of Mt. Sterling, two brothers; Johnny (Willa) Tackett of Virgie, James (Net Hall) Tackett of Pikeville, one sister; Dorothy (Ronnie) Hampton of Virgie, one sister-in-law; Bernice Tackett of IN, nine grandchildren; Cody (April), Ashley (Jon), Matthew, Katelyn, Charity, Tildon (Kristina), Brady, Noah, Bailey, two great-grandchildren; Colt and Mollie Mae. Along with her special caretakers; Franka Adams, Sarah Boggs and Christy McHone. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 11:00 AM at the Long Fork Old Regular Baptist Church with Gary Hampton, James Tackett and Jerry Damron officiating. Burial will follow in the W.P Johnson Cemetery at Sebastians Branch. Visitation will begin on Friday after 6:30PM at the Church with nightly services beginning at 7:00PM.
