Mildred Mullins

Mildred Gay C. Mullins age 76 of Cabin Fork of Dorton, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Whitesburg ARH. She was born on January 16, 1942 to the late Erman and Vaughnie Horn Childers. She was a retired school teacher of 34 years, having taught at Jenkins Independent Schools, Elkhorn City High School, among others. She is survived by her husband; Jimmy D. Mullins, two sons; Dr. W. Michael Smith and wife Lauren of Seymour, TN, Geoffrey Albert Austin Middleton of Morehead, one step son; Scotty Darrell Mullins of Somerset, two grandchildren; Savannah R. Smith, Dylan Elliott Smith of Kingsport, TN, and one step grandchild; Cody Mullins. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday at 1:00PM at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home with Johnny Vanover officiating. Visitation will begin on Monday after 6:00PM at the Funeral Home with services beginning at 7:00PM and officiated by Ritchie Roberts, with some special Bluegrass singing.
