Donna Caudill

Donna Kaye Tackett Johnson Caudill,73 of Robinson Creek, KY was born Wednesday January 14, 1953, to the late Cleveland and Irene Tackett passed away peacefully on Monday February 3, 2026, at home surrounded by her loved ones. Besides her parents, Donna, was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Edward Johnson; daughter, Renee Newsome; stepdaughter, Cheryl Caudill; brother, Virgil Tackett; brother-in-law, Billy Akers. Donna was employed by Pikeville Medical Center for many years. Her passion was cooking and feeding her family and others. She would be the one fixing others plates any time she could. It wasn’t a task to her, it was showing love. She loved her family and was their fiercest advocate. There wasn’t a time in her able bodied years that she didn’t show up and show out for her loved ones. Making every event special, she was the mom and nana that every child or grandchild dreamt of having. The sister that made everything even more special. Donna had a love for Christ that she embodied, the memories of her speak of that testimony. She was a member of the Bethel Freewill Baptist Church at Jonancy. Donna leaves behind to mourn her passing, her husband, Garrie Randal Caudill; son, Chad Edward (Vivian) Johnson; son-in-law, Steven Newsome; sister, Sharon Akers; brothers, Edgel Tackett and Jeffrey (Donna) Tackett, all of Little Robinson Creek, and Rodney (Denise) Tackett of Greasy; sister-in-law, Donna Gail Tackett, of Little Robinson Creek; step-daughters, Janna Caudill, Cindy Justice, and Jennifer Newsome; four grandchildren, Stephanie Newsome, Logan Johnson, Kaylee Newsome and Hunter Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Emerson and Ayden Gillespie and Scarlett Damron; a special step- grandson, Austin Caudill; as well as a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 11:00AM at the Hall & Jones Funeral Home with Bethel Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Cleveland Tackett Cemetery at Little Robinson. Visitation will begin on Friday after 6:00PM at the Funeral Home with nightly services beginning at 7:00PM. Friday evening services will be conducted by Old Regular Baptist Ministers and Saturday evening by Bethel Freewill Ministers.
